Distributors Fight Human Trafficking

More than 300,000 children are at risk of being trafficked for sex in the United States, and those numbers are highest in California. Human trafficking is happening in all of our communities, urban and rural, and we have the power to help stop this horrible crime. Markstein Sales Co. is partnering locally and nationally to help combat this problem and this page provides videos and resources to encourage others to join us in this fight. From beer distributors to individuals, it only takes a few minutes to learn what to look for and how to save a life.

Help Us Fight Human Trafficking

The fight against human trafficking is making a difference in children’s lives around the U.S. and we need your help! Hear from Markstein Sales Co., the National Beer Wholesalers Assoc. (NBWA), New Day for Children, and a rescued trafficking survivor on why training and awareness programs work to save lives and how you or your company can join the fight.

"The message is getting out...Even other distributors outside of the beer industry actually call and ask "How did you do this?" and "What can we do to help?"
Laura Markstein,

Meet Gabbi. She’s a fighter, a survivor…so much more than a statistic.

The statistics around human trafficking in the U.S. are staggering, but remember that for every statistic, there is a real person – in many cases a young child – who is living this nightmare. Listen to Gabbi, a rescued trafficking survivor, and let’s draw on her strength and perseverance to fight against this crime.

"It was very new to me that somebody would do something for me not wanting something from me. They just did it because they cared about me."
